Mission Intelligence

The Mission Score

Most organizations only find out a campaign is failing after the money doesn't come in. The Mission Score is an early-warning system: a single 0–100 number, refreshed daily, that tells you whether the whole operation — not just the dollars — is healthy.

The four pillars

Fundraising

Pace against goal, momentum vs. the prior period, capital-campaign commitments, sponsor pipeline and upcoming events. Overdue pledges pull it down.

Communications

Volume of sends, whether a cadence is scheduled ahead, and delivery quality. Going silent is the single biggest penalty here.

Community

Size and growth of your supporter list, orders placed today, and active membership. Audience is the asset every campaign draws on.

Operations

Open approvals, unfinished setup, drafts waiting on you, campaign status, and cross-mission risk alerts from sponsors, members, or events.

How the math works

Each pillar starts from a baseline set by its strongest signal — fundraising pace, send volume, supporter count, campaign status — then gains or loses points for the behaviors that actually move outcomes. A campaign ahead of goal opens at 95; one that has gone quiet on communications drops 25. The overall score is the plain average of the four pillars, so no single area can hide a weak one.
